I am a Board-certified Doctorate of Acupuncture and have fostered a lifelong passion in natural approaches to healing and wellness. My curiosity began while raising my own children and I always migrated towards oil of oregano, Vitamin D and ghee/turmeric for ailments in our house. I also treated my chronic sinusitis with Acupuncture and dietary changes.
This passion then turned to action with my drive to be part of healing landscape utilizing the latest evidence informed studies alongside century old practices. I spent four years obtaining a Doctorate degree from Pacific College of Health and Science and have extensive knowledge and experience in Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion alongside training as a Functional Nutritional Counselor with the FX Nutrition Alliance.
I have done specialty externships at Jesse Brown Veterans Hospitals in Chicago treating musculoskeletal pain, mental health issues and digestive disharmonies. I trained in Women’s health and fertility at the Chicago Women’s Health Group. Finally, I did two externships at Rush Hospital in the Integrative Oncology unit treating cancer patients and the various side effects of chemotherapy to assist patients come back to balance.
Specialties include treating pain, sciatica, arthritis, insomnia, digestive health, perimenopause symptoms, fibromyalgia, metabolic syndrome, autoimmune disorders, fertility support, menstrual issues, and anxiety and depression.
As a Certified Nutritionist, I firmly believe food is some of our best medicine and any lasting results ultimately come from changes in everyday eating. I love combining the Functional view of nutrition with a centuries old Eastern lens as well to give clients a broad and deep view of approaches to a patient’s health
